Talya Grumberg
Clinical Intern

I am currently working toward a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Concordia University. A keen interest in adult Clinical Neuropsychology has led me to the Montreal Neurological Institute to study the neuropsychological assessment of epilepsy patients under the supervision of Dr. Marilyn Jones-Gotman, Dr. Viviane Sziklas and Dr. Jelena Djordjevic. My research focuses on cognitive factors that underlie skilled performance. More specifically, my Ph.D. thesis is concerned with the perceptual and cognitive bases of musical score reading in expert and non-expert musicians. When I am not in the lab or at the hospital, I love to sing opera, play piano or guitar, and cook a good meal.
